CaptionCraft shapes text — it does not generate, post, or manage video. Here is what it does not do, so you know before you invest time.

No AI-generated captions. CaptionCraft shapes the words you already wrote. It does not write new copy, suggest hooks, or rewrite your voice. What you paste is what gets formatted.
No video processing. The transcript is text-only. There is no upload, no player, no preview window, and no timing or sync — this is a text tool for text work.
No team features. No shared workspaces, no collaborator invites, no comments, no approval flows. One person using this alone is the complete product.

Why not just use a spreadsheet?

A spreadsheet does work.

If you already have a template with columns for each platform and you remember to fill every one, a spreadsheet works fine. CaptionCraft removes the repetition: paste once, read the variants, tweak and copy. No columns to manage, no forgetting which platform you already wrote for, no reformatting when a platform changes its limits. If a spreadsheet is working for you, keep using it. Free caption apps exist — they do video.

OpusClip, CapCut, and Captions AI generate animated captions directly on your video. That is a different product.
